Bats in my Belfry

In the interest of having only one ugly mug at the top of this blog I'm not posting a picture of this. I found a dead bat behind some furniture in my office today. I noticed a smell when I came in last night, but thought it was the air conditionaire filter gone bad.

So, if I was a hypochondriac, (shh, now) what symptoms would I have from being in a small space with a decomposing brown bat?
