Vlad and Cabrera!

"The Angels have a new shortstop. The team signed free agent Orlando Cabrera, 30, to a four-year deal on Monday. Former shortstop David Eckstein was not offered a 2008 contract and is now a free agent."

I had already decided that the Angels...with Vlad and an owner who makes sense...would be my new team. (The hell with the MLB Nomads.)

Now they've added another EX-Spo, Orlando Cabrera who should feel right at home with the Angels. I just wish David Eckstein could have stayed on the team. He was an inspiration to those who are told they don't have the size/strength/etc. to make the majors.
