Another round of consolidation?

It wasn't long ago that Yahoo bought eGroups. Google responded by turning Deja.com into Google Groups. Yahoo bought Rocketmail and created Yahoo Mail. Google took their time and created Gmail. Google brought Pyra Labs and Blogger into the fold.

So, what will Yahoo purchase next? Moveabletype? No, it looks like Yahoo is set to buy flickr. I predict Google will respond by purchasing Webshots.
