Simon and Simon: The Website
I've created a monster. Remember when I told you about Simon and Simon now appearing on The Sleuth Channel?
Well, I started watching the episodes to relive the old pulp TV days. My darling daughter wandered in one afternoon.
And she was hooked, "Who's that?" I explained Rick and A.J. and the concepts of good guys and bad guys. (Later we'd discuss grey guys, but that was Lesson One.)
Now we spend 40+ minutes each day longing on the couch talking about the adventures of Marlowe the Dog and his owners Rick and A.J. Simon. She asks hundresd of questions. She wants to know who the bad guys are and why they're bad. Why does A.J. do this and how come Rick did that.
She's learned quickly. When we drive she now tells me about the Simon and Simon episodes she's watching in the back seat.
Please note we do not have a TV in the back seat.
She isn't recounting episodes we've seen. She makes up her own. It's too bad the show is off the air. She's had some good ideas.
If you'd like to watch along with us the show is on every weekday at 7 and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. We actually timeshift. Because Gigi's grandparents visited we're a bit behind.
Gigi and I are tracking the episodes with our impressions, cast lists, quotes and trivia at: SimonandSimon.net
What? You don't make websites about shows you watch with your children?
