When I was young I spent many hours reading science fiction. Much of it improved my life. Two of my favorite authors are Samuel R. Delany and Joe Haldeman. They are both teaching at the 2009 Clarion workshop. If you're a writer you probably already know about the great work they do at Clarion workshops. If you're a science fiction fan, then I bet one of your favorite authors attended Clarion. In any case, spread the word. Let fans and writers know how to sign up for this year's workshop.

Joe Haldeman... you know, I've been hearing for years that I need to read "The Forever War", but I have yet to run across it in a library or bookstore.

My god man. Get thee to the library and request "inter-library loan" for:
The Forever War [UNABRIDGED]
hb isbn:0739453432
or
The Forever War
pb isbn: 0060510862
There are two "sequels." But only the third is a direct sequel. I have fond memories of "All My Sins Remembered" also by Haldeman. But, I was young when I read that novel so you may disagree.
