The latest E.Coli scare won't have a benefit that it should...reminding consumers that the idea of "brand" is mere matter of promotion. Especially when it comes to fresh fruit and vegatables.
Natural Selection Foods LLC is recalling the following brands...all packaged by Natural Selection Foods. I wonder if they gave their own packages the best leaves?

Natural Selection Foods has recalled all packages of its fresh spinach and any salad with spinach in a blend because they are possibly contaminated with E. coli. The affected packages have "Best if Used by Dates" of August 17 through October 1. Consumers with questions can contact the company at 800-690-3200.
