Shades of Green - Temple of Me

Temple of Me

Welcome. All web sites are temples to their creators. Temple of Me will reflect what interests me, Temple of Me. I am a husband, father (twice), American, and liberal. I live in a "Red state" in the South. I am nearsighted, ambidextrous and over 30. Actually, I'm 153.33% of thirty.

Shades of Green

Put this in the "I'm surprised, but not sure why" category. There is an Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) at Disneyworld. It's a resort exclusively for servicemembers and families to have R&R. Of course, why not? But still....

Imagine a peaceful wooded setting surrounding 586 oversized guest rooms, cascading waterfalls, lush tropical gardens, spectacular views from private patios and balconies amid stunning sunrises. With diverse dining options, championship golf, plenty of kids activities and a premier location on Walt Disney World Resort, Shades of Green has all you are looking for in a totally relaxing vacation destination.

I found one entry to highlight in the list of those eligible to stay at the resort: Special category- Medal of Honor Recipients.
